Someone from Larian should see this, but not until monday, at least. You can also try emailing them (support@larian.com), perhaps including a link to the topic.
One of the Larian QA people stated that there is more involved in switching languages than just changing a file and registry entry (so some issues may be directly due to the hack), but they are keeping track of bug reports. Anything not caused by the hack will be dealt with appropriately.
There are some German players who frequent the English forums as well, but it may take awhile to get any feedback on whether this has happened before or is a known problem (some people do other things on the weekend, or only have internet access at work, etc).
Larian is currently working on the second patch AFAIK (more details may have been mentioned in the German forums; last I heard about it was a couple weeks ago). The game is being shown at GamesCon (Aug 20-23rd), so they may be trying to get the patch released by then (or at least close enough they can show an updated version of the game).
