Well it seems that it happens in both the regular version and the hacked, but all that is important is that it happens in the unhacked since that is supported.
What are your stat points set to? Maybe it is an odd combination that triggers a miscalculation of skill points for some reason. Hopefully someone from Larian will get to check this over on Monday...actually it might be Monday now for them lol.
