Does enyone actually read those books?
As an RPG player, I do. It gives me the feeling the world is alive and "real".
As an employee of Larian Studios, I would urge the players to do so as well
First, reading books is fun. Second, you'll have a better understanding of the history of Rivellon and what's happening around you. Third, if you don't read books, you might miss out on some tips. (For instance, sometimes, there are books placed very close to sidequest objects that clarify what you can do with them.)
