As an RPG player, I do. It gives me the feeling the world is alive and "real".

As an employee of Larian Studios, I would urge the players to do so as well smile First, reading books is fun. Second, you'll have a better understanding of the history of Rivellon and what's happening around you. Third, if you don't read books, you might miss out on some tips. (For instance, sometimes, there are books placed very close to sidequest objects that clarify what you can do with them.)

Agree completely, which is why I complained about the book interface in the suggestion thread. I absolutely love the depth that the book added. But please, give us a better way of reading and archiving them. (I cried a little inside, when I had to destroy my first book to make room for other items frown )
As I mentioned in that thread, a way to archive books that you have picked up would be great. It could also serve as a much improved book reading interface. (I am sick of the counter intuitive sequence that one must take to read one book after the other)

Don't know if you guys read the suggestions or not, but if not, please give it a gander.

thanks much.
