Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks sentinel islan candle quest

i have cleared all island and stuck at quest with 3 candles i have red that need book to take from pedistal to read at candle area .. queastion is were is that book or were is that pedital with book because book should be quest item as i assume to be right for this quest.. anyone help plz

The female trainer (forgot her name)located inside the shipwreck on the beach starts the quest you need. Talk to her. She gives you a quest about a missing dude that left the camp. Go straight up from the shipwreck (hope I remember this correctly, anyway someplace near) and you'll find the dude up on a column assaulted by some undead. He asks for your help and you have to kill the assailants. As a reward he gives you a dusty tome that he found and that tome is what you need.

it apearded to be bug after i choose masters first i killed that girl by choosing guy and this way quest became bugged because that guy was inactive for me he didn't talk or monsters were attacking me so now i loaded all over again and did it .. thanks

Np, glad you made it! Well that sucks a bit, actually I was wondering what would happen if you already made the choice and killed the girl without, for example, talking to her. It would have been nicer for the quest to start when you meet the guy, get the tome and simply miss the extra xp from the girl if the case (now if I think about it I don't remember if the quest ended when you saved the guy - cause if it ends there I see no point in having the girl as a quest starter). Ok, I'm off questing =)
