Agree completely, which is why I complained about the book interface in the suggestion thread. I absolutely love the depth that the book added. But please, give us a better way of reading and archiving them.
A better flow of reading books is planned for next patch. If you want to "store" your books, I'm afraid you'll have put them in the dragon chest in the tower...

But how about making use of one of the bookshelves in the tower, and let us send books to there instead of just the chest? (Not a high priority ofc, just thought that all the bookshelves looked lonely
