Id didn't say it is the only stupid thing. I play RPG since almost 20 years now and yeah i'm also quite pissed about things like Diablo II where a moscito swarm drops a plate armor.
There are RPGs out there where you get exactly what the enemy was wearing that's how it should be done.
And for your information i haven't loaded goblins again to get hearts (i even didnt read richards mind) i just killed him when he tried to get the food and i already finished the game.
But still it's rather stupid like things are handled in this fantasy world. Imaganing doing stuff like this in a Pen & Paper.. you won't master long if you do stuff like this.
