I have finished a quest and I should talk to NPC to take reward but it happens nothing:

I found Orobas dead in his dungeon, but when I talk to Jebediah I can only say goodbye.

in the log the quest is enlighted in green and it says that I have to talk with Jebediah..

it is a bug or i'm missing something?


The same happens with Allan the alchemist and his potion quest

are you get the treasures in the dungeon where you find Orobas ?
the chest will ask you questions :the first answer is 3 skeleton, next answer is (just remeber 2 apples ,one object and one ohter object ...forgot),final answer is 4 candles.
then get out speak to Jebediah ,he would say something means : treat you as divine instead of Orobas.
after that 5 people came out and say something, then begin to fight....beat them and get the bags..

It's a bug. Many people have had this issue, including me.

here is a question. do you read the book when you find it in a mine or someplace?

reading or using the book or scroll maybe link to something, for instance, I could get a mission named the soup of nut by reading the book.

You need not only complete the quest, but have ALL the quest components in your inventory for it to go farther. This happened to me here too. I had the chalice, but not the rare herb -- for one reason or another I had cleared my inventory into the battle tower, so I had to go get it to complete the quest.

if you loot the chest right next to the entrance, the second chest will also want to know what you got there .

I'm stuck here with some other bug so I'd like to know if somebody saw it too:

When I bring back the quest items to Jebediah (both chalice and rare herb in my inventory), the cut scene starts but its freezing my screen and I have to reboot (playing on 360 btw).
The game is freezing right after Jebediah spoke some weird language, so I cant even get to Orobas grave, how frustrating -_-'

Ever heard of this, any solution ?

Are you playing off the DVD or do you have the game installed to the hard drive (if available)?
One person with D2:ED had a problem with a cutscene that worked properly after installing the game, so it is worth a shot if you are playing off the DVD.

I'll try to install, worth the shot indeed.
