There are two books in this quest. One of them the Librarian ghost has, the other you'll find hidden in the tower. You need to find and exchange the one book with the librarian ghost to get the one you need.
Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?
