Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks cant read books

hi, just a bug im encountering. after switching the language to english i cant seem to open up and read books. when i switch it back to german seems to be alright. problems occured after i installed the 1.02 patch. anyone else with this problem and could guide me on how to fix it?

Did you install the patch before hacking the game into English?

Yeah, there is no english locali(z)sation in 1.02 patch resources. Pretty sure it has nothing with Larian, but publisher's job :<

Please don’t hack the game with a language work-around, it causes crashes and bugs.
