Its not up to Larian to decide.
Its the Publisher that decides the dates.
I'm sure If it was up to Larian they would have the game released Simaltaniously or days apart.

There's probably games from the US that Germans and other Europeans want to play but they too have to wait for it to be released abroad. Tables are turned this time, with all of us Americans waiting for it to come here. It actually kind of benefits us when you look at it. Since the game's been released for a while in Germany, they can fix up most if not all of the issues with the game before it hits the US.

That is why I'm glad CDV is publishing this game in the U.S!

All the CDV games I have were all published outside North America first and although I had to wait for a game longer, CDV has a reputation of incorporating patches/updates before a release in the U.S, so even though we have to wait a bit longer, any updates should already be in the U.S release.

The crap-tastic Sacred 2 had a huge 1.2 Gig patch on the day of release in EU, yet the folks at CDV waited a month before releasing the game in the U.S, and released the game with the patch already incorporated, which was great for those of us that still have dialup!

Its almost perfect game.. I like it as I liked first Divine Divinity.. tough, it has some downsides.

But still, its probably one of best today RPG´s.. (yea and pretty hard to play.. its looong time I played something that difficult..).

The language work-around causes crashes and bugs that we don't support.

And when the game gets updates and patches your hacked game may not work or accept the patches.

I vote we don't let people who hack or pirate games be allowed to post here, because they have no respect for the games developers by stealing what they workd so hard to produce, and basically crap on the "real" gamers who have jobs, work hard, and pay for our games.

Most game forums have a ZERO tollerance for anyone mentioning how to hack a game!

Hello The Outfield, yes, you are right.
Unfortunately chasing such people is very time consuming, but I will chase them when needed wink

I'll close this thread.
