Well, if I take Chinese as example.. Chines from north, don´t understand spoken world from south China.. but both has same written language (along with Japanese if I´m correct..).
It is inevitable, world will sooner or later use same language.. I hope it will be English and not Chinese.

Btw. theres plenty of things against our nature.. "peace" for example.
