And yet there is still no actual release date, not even for regions that have a publisher. The OP has a point as far as that goes. But, my advice is still WAIT. The game will be buggy and need patching, no offense to Larian, it's just the law of computer games. As such, I don't really care what day it comes out, because I will need to wait a while anyway. I waited for the Witcher Enhanced Edition, and was rewarded with a near-flawless game, after months of everybody else complaining about load times and crashes and graphics glitches. The same with the Diablo games, the previous Divinity games, the list is as long as my game library.

I will say this though..we DO have an official word as to the release, and that is "Holiday Season." The holiday season is only so many weeks long, do you really need to pinpoint the exact day that it will hit the shelves? Save some money for it, and buy it when your local store or the internet has it available. I don't see why you have to feel so maligned because there's a not a a specific day mentioned....specific days inevitably get changed anyways...
