US and UK versions are both same, but 45 days between their release. Funny.
US version video and cutscenes are in NTSC
UK would be PAL.
Different middlemen and distribution centers to deal with in both countries.
Also, why not let those guys across the pond play first? They can work out the bugs and maybe we'll have a working patch for the US version when it comes out in Jan.
I'm talking about the PC version of D2. I can understand the waiting time between for ex, german and english version. Because, there is a localization process and such.
I'm thinking American publisher is waiting for the Dragon Age Origins' sales cooling off, don't want to leave Divinity 2 in the shadow of DAO I think. European-based RPGs' sales don't fare well in the US territory, and American gamers always have some biases to these games (I can't understand why). So, planning your release date in the US is very important for these kind of games. This is my opinion.
