Do you have a battlekeep? Go and change skill point allocation. This game is almost impossible for pure melee char.
Use summon, summon mastery, firewall. Raise Int. Almost every weapon has magic dmg based on it.
I am walking around with 2 creatures and have an easy time with groups 1-2 lvls higher.
Sorry to tell but almost all skills you choose are waste of perfectly good points.
