The graphics are generally great on the 360, but the framerate is not consistent, and some of the animations of NPCs/baddies are quite jittery -- aliasing is also prevalent. I'm hoping that some of these performance issues are addressed in a patch because I love the game itself smile

I have had the pleasure to play through the "Gold" master of Divinity 2 of the North American version in the last 2 weeks, and being published by CDV USA in January. The graphics are amazing along with a great story, and wonderful gameplay!

What a great way to start off the New Year for those with an Xbox 360 or a PC!

It's a real shame Larian missed the holiday rush though. Then again there are gift cards at most video game stores.

Every time there I run into trouble on the road, there is always a dwarf at the bottom of it. Don't they know how to drive above ground?

I play on 360 too. Framerate does drop just a liiittle bit occasionally but on the whole it plays verrrry smoothly.
I've played Oblivion, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect on the 360 and this game plays even more fluently than Fallout 3. You can explore wide open regions without any loading screens or "Loading Area..." pauses.
Character animation is not good. Depth of field is used extensively and beautifully. Some textures are a bit sloppy, others look great. Overall, I'd say this game looks better than Oblivion but not as good as Mass Effect, graphically. From a design standpoint (more important than graphical prowess, imo) it's wonderful. Never did the designers attempt to re-invent the wheel but somehow the landscapes, villages and characters all exude a level of personality that makes it stand out above your generic fantasy worlds.
