Still buying. This game sounds like my cup of tea.

*still waiting for Jan. 5th*

EDIT: Just an FYI, they say that this game is very good, but lacks some overall polish. It scored the same as DA: O on consoles and Risen on PC.

Eurogamer suck.
They gave Fable II a 10/10 and that was not perfect and thats coming from a Fable Fan!

6/10? That score doesn't seem to be in line with the tone of the article. It seemed quite positive.

For the same, Eurogamer thrashed Dragon Age in their review but still gave the game 8/10...

I would give D2 8/10 8.5/10 and dragon age 9.5/10 or 10/10

The player feedback is enough to have me pumped for Divinity II. If you read the text for the review, however, you'll see it's pretty damn positive. A 6 is considered pretty good and solid coming from Eurogamer.

I disregard scores anyway, but I take issue with a lot of the content in Eurogamer's reviews, especially when it comes to the more hardcore RPGs. Although some of their points are valid, both their review of DAO and DII demonstrate their inability to properly evaluate games in this genre in my opinion.

Actually DAO got 6/10 aswell. And God, i can`t agree more, even though i gave the game a 7.4.

Eurogamer is building quite a reputation of being jerks, this is just another example.

They seem to enjoy giving very low scores, but on the review itself actualy give praise for the piece of software. Its realy anoying to read a full review when they seem to actualy enjoy the game, and then give the lowest score of whole Europe to it. Makes perfect sense, or not.

I actualy think they are trying to get publicity by giving ridiculous scores and be diferent from all the rest.

Edge is by far the worst review source.

Reminds me of the time IGN gave Gothic II a 2/10.

Boy, were they catching hate back then. Haha. Served them right.

I actually expect more scores like this from some of the bigger sites, but that is OK. As I have seen enough gameplay to know I will enjoy Divinity II. My expectations are realistic and I pretty much know what I will be getting with this one. Namely, one of those under the radar, flawed gems. I am sucker for games like this. Always have been, always will be.

Dante's Inferno will get trashed, too.

GameTrailers Invisible Walls podcast gave the demo a beating.

I thought the demo was solid and good all around.

I never listen to critics -- EVER!

Destructoid gave AC2 a 4.5/10.

I hate critics with a passion. Attention whoring asshats.

It probably will and I don't give a damn either. Nobody wants to talk about how polished it is or how smoothly it runs at 60 FPS. Nor do they consider the atmosphere or possibilities for many unique moves and magic that will be available on the skill trees as you progress. All they can focus on is that it plays like GOW, therefore, they think it sucks and are writing it off before giving the game as a whole a chance. Very hypocritical considering they love how GOW plays, but I digress.

As far as Divinity II goes, the same 'I do not give a damn' attitude applies. I am not expecting a masterpiece, I just know it is a game I will have fun with, despite whatever flaws may be present. Reviews be damned.
