All i know is when dual wielding, if you have a nice boost to melee damage by enchantment, the offhand "bonus" does not get penalized. Like, +25 to melee damage weap. if that occupies ur offhand, it adds +25 and the chance of you finding such a weapon is high enuff, so DW is fine by me.
