A Ranger or Mage most of the time attack enemies from a distance!

Maybe the armour set of Ranger/Mage have other good stats like + points to intelligence or dextery?? Or a + points to a Ranger or Mage Skill?

But I don't know ... just thinking about that when I read the post of ACSS wink

Yes its normal for warrior set to have more melee defence, mage set to have more magical defence, but still all 3 types of defenses need to be take into consideration. By using my non set champion series, I can manage to have 2 resistance over 50% and 1 at bout 46%. When I change to for example the archmage set, only the magical resistance maintain over 50%, melee and range resistance drop till 20%+ to 30% range, do you still think its a good choice to swap like this? The warrior set is still ok in my opinion as the 4 armor parts had 2 enchantment slot, but mage and hunter set only had 1 enchantment slot on each of its armor part.

Playing a ranger doesnt mean you dont need melee defense, as there no guarantee you kill all that approaches you in time before they reach you, same goes to warrior need range and magical resistance as well.

You will find out what additional bonus you get from using full sets once you reach the part in game. But I can overall tell you what a ring from the 3 different set add

Scorpion ring (warrior):+3 spirit, +1 firewall,no charm slot, 1 enchantment slot
Hunter ring: +12 heightened reflex, 1 charm slot, 1 enchantment slot
Aleroth Archmage ring: +3 dex, no charm slot, 1 enchantment slot
1 of the ring I using (legendary): +3 int, +3 str, +7 magic armor, +1 wisdom, 2 charm slot, 1 enchantment slot.

Ask yourself which you will choose then
