Im a new player at this game and i set up the game difficult to the hardest

SO far in the game I clear up to the first battlefield key in act 1 and along the way i have been picking up all the items that i could find along the way and clear EVERY SINGLE ROOM.

However right now when i encounter any merchants, they always have a lack of gold to let me sell my items and i have over 10000000 items in my inventory. In fact both of my char have reach their weight limit and all those items are ready to be sold. Therefore his there any possible way for the merchant to regain there gold or not.

Or is it because i play to the hardest difficulty that there is a lack of gold supply? If there isn't anyway to sell those items, how do I suppose to gain the gold that is require to by all the skill that is available?

If anybody can clear this up i will be greatly appreciate.

PS: I'm sorry for any of grammar error English is my second language and if you want to correct my grammar feel free to do so.

From the main game area you can repeatedly enter the battlefield (BF) to sell excess loot to the merchants there and then exit (inventories get regenerated each time you enter). Merchants can sometimes hang on to some of the things you sell or trade to them, which stay on top of their inventory list. Some people only sell items to the potion dealer in the BF, so they will not clutter up the inventory of the other merchants (whatever value of items they hang on to reduces the available value of the new stuff they can have).

The summoning dolls can hold an unlimited amount of weight, though can not carry quest items, or set/unique equipment in the act it is found. Like your main characters, they can not move once they are over their capacity, but you can un-summon and then re-summon them as needed.

The act 1 doll is the only one who can use a ranged weapon (crossbow), so you generally would not need it to move, anyway. This doll is available on the second level of the game, where you get to after jumping down the pit. If you are past there, you can get back relatively easily once you reach the citadel.
Dolls can trigger area effect traps, but one of the earlier patches removed the ability to use them to open trapped containers. The digital download version has already been updated, as should any remotely recent re-release versions. The version number is shown in the bottom right corner of the main menu; the latest English version is 1.47/1.49 (the 1.49 patch removed the copy protection, but otherwise is the same as the 1.47 version).

Yes, you can just click the icon to leave the BF; when you enter again the inventories should be different.

What version of the game do you have? (language and version number, shown in the bottom right corner of the main menu)
I think it was the 1.40 patch that change the BF merchant inventories to regenerate each time you entered the BF. The 1.43 patch added a small chance for the BF merchants to carry holy water (required to make permanent potions), so that change had to have been made by then.
If you have an original release version, the English patch can be downloaded here (that page has a link to the German patch; don't know about other localizations).
