Indeed this is just one of the problems people encounter with games and SecuRom.
Did you try uninstalling the emulation software?
Note that just uninstalling it might not be enough.
You would have to remove all registry entries as well.
You would need to refer to your emulations website for that information.
I understand companies must protect their product but it's pretty bad when people are forced to remove perfectly good software that can be used for legitimate purposes, just to satisfy a copy protection system.
