I think, when you're on the platform (after climbing the ladder), take a little run(2 steps is enough I think), before you MUST jump and on that moment, your hero can make a roll in the sky if you do the jump-action!
Without that little run, the hero jump only above and a little bit forward, but for sure, that's not enough to reach the following platform
