Nice screenshots from the PC version. I am specifically talking about the 360 version on a technical level here and so was the reviewer. By today's standards, the graphics are simply not good...period.
There is aliasing galore, flat and muddy low resolution textures and not to mention the screen tearing and clipping which do not help the graphics either. Whether you want to admit it or not, these issues ARE there.
To drive my point home, Divinity II uses the Gamebryo engine, which Oblivion used as well. Yet Oblivion looks far better. With that, let's compare a nearly 4 year old game that uses the same engine, shall we? (pics removed by request)
Indeed, by today's standards, the visuals are lacking and that is just being honest about it. I love the game and do not have a problem with the visuals, but the fact that the game does not even look better than a 4 year old game that uses the same engine says a lot. I rest my case.
