Am wondering around the broken valley when a NPC called Willy runs up and asks if I want to buy Folo's house or a new one 500 gold.

Said yes to a new house but am wondering what happens if you buy Folo's if anyone has done it or if you even get a house and all of this is a con - when I mindreaded the guy he was just wondering about his stash near goblin mines or something.
