Felt the need to post this here as well, huh? Er. That wasn't for me, right? I'm having quite a good time with this game, despite some rough edges and problems here and there. As for system wars, never played it No, it was for the TC. He posted this exact same thread over in the Gamespot System Wars forum.

Felt the need to post this here as well, huh? Unfortunately, I think you will find that you will be in the minority here even more so than you were over in System Wars. At any rate, sorry Divinity II did not work out for you. I am loving it, myself. I think we're the only 2 people that noticed this. Yep, by the looks of things, we may be the only System Warriors here, lol. We're hardcore like that.
My Favorite RPGs: Divinity franchise, Gothic franchise (including Arcania, so I think I'm alone...), Venetica, Risen, Two Worlds II, The Witcher, Sacred franchise, Fallout franchise, Mass Effect 1, Alpha Protocol, Planescape: Torment, Drakensang, KOTOR 1 & 2, etc.

Could this game be patched up for better graphics like less choppiness? I know you can fix the auto-save feature, and they should because if they don't this game isn't going anywhere.

People bitch when the graphics are to high for their system so they make it lighter on the pc. Result: people bitching it is not nice enough. Well, maxed out it is nice enough.
If people took notice of other treads you find out that different versions of the game are around, so yes the American version is differant from the European versionS. patches for all are underway as with any game. Like Dragon age.
The levelscaling is up for debate. It is a shame that one game goes to extremes and an other uses a fixed scale.

Ewww... Level Scaling. Carry on playing that watered down Oblivion please if you want that. The games suddenly out in the US. Guess what thats when the complaints come in Keep in mind the North American version contains the load/save bug that's about to be patched to all versions (or hopefully not if they catch it in time). Some of these complains are warranted. No one wants to reload a game and appear in a different area or crash and have to reload. Loading and savings are core functions and everyone expects them to work in an RPG specially, regardless of where in the world they are.

Hmm, why do peaple get so down on lvl scaleing? I've always found that it made games more challenging and thereby more fun, the only problem I had with oblivions lvl scaleing is that it wasn't tough enough, so I just bumped the dificulty up one notch each time I LvL'ed.
in the case of this game I actualy quit at about 32'nd lvl because the game consisted of fireball, loot, fireball, loot, fireball, loot, fireball ect. ad nauseum, some lvl scaleing might just of saved the game for me, hell, I killed uber deamon and all his minions with two firballs and a fire blast, never evern got hit, all damions captains took a single fireblast to put down, only one word that can decribe the excitement there YAAAAAAAaaaaawwwwwnnnn.
just my 2 cents worth, tax included
