Is there some english patch for divinity 2 ego draconis that is compatible with windows 7? can someone post me link? pls, i love the game but i don't understand german.

There are no non-German patches out yet; other localizations already include those updates/fixes, plus any made up to the point they were released. There is a patch in the works, hopefully being released soon, to bring all localizations up to the North American release version.

Are you having a problem with the game in Windows 7 (see here), or were you trying to install the German game/patch and do the language hack?

I've got the English version of the game running on Windows 7 - have it on XP SP3 compatability mode and disabling visual themes and works fine.

bilathebloody, can u please post the ling for the patch? i played game in english in Windows XP but in windows 7 i cannot find one that is compatible with it.

The English version has no patches yet - all I did was install the game then right click on the shortcut on my desktop and on the compatability tab, select XP SP3 and Disable Viual Themes and it works fine.

Note that my PC is fully updated - all the latest patches for Win7, graphics card, DX11 etc.

There are a few places to get the game listed here for various regions. In the US Gamestop and Best Buy, at least, have started selling the game early; AFAIK everyone in Canada is waiting for the official Jan 5th North American release date.

Yes, but not that are selling early (gamestop.ca and bestbuy.ca list the release for the PC and Xbox versions from Jan 4th - 7th).

Can't you buy a UK direct download if you are not from UK (e.g. from http://game.gamesplanet.com/produit.html;jsessionid=BFA61837C4FF9525FF52304E2A42E081.jvmGpfr?product_id=1437&category_id=25)?

Otherwise try Amazon from whichever country you are in (Amazon.com, Amazon.ca etc).

Bought mine off eBay here in the UK

PC DVD versions you can get from anywhere, but at least with Impluse and Gamersgate, they have exclusive digital download deals for North America and the UK, respectively (don't know about metaboli; I clicked to download on the gamesplanet site, but it prompts to log in, rather than start with payment info or a notice that it is unavailable from my location). Of course importing is effectively restricted for the Xbox version, since you can not mix NTSC and PAL games/systems.
