Tried to. Couldn't. Because of the missing body issue.
Are they too cheap to create a toon and do the animations for it?
She doesn't have a body on the PC? I could have sworn you can see Faiths feet etc.
Not sure how you're going to make a full body experience work properly in that respect if you want to see breasts (clothed of course) etc. I suppose it's not a massive deal but is probably unnesseccary coding.
Now I didn't say that. I just said that I liked Geralt a lot. But it could be interesting. Not a de-sexified piece if rock, though. Sexy is okay, but admirable for her strength of will would be required, too.
Well it was more a question rather than an implication.

So would you go for the Blade type heroine? He's kind of anti hero. Or something like that guy from The Darkness? Someone who is basically a criminal or who has to do bad things to survive, etc.
I think I mentioned a few already. And I guess you don't want to hear about the early days of Tetris and Civ, haha. The jump into the 3d world was Indy and then Tomb Raider. Big TR fan for the longest time (before Crystal Dynamics). All kinds of adventures. Used to like click & point with nifty riddles, but nowadays I'm more into nice graphics. PoP is cool, love the acrobatics and the prince is hunky and goofy enough to be a good male character, heh. And yes, I've played Sims. My version was modded to mature rating, though.
Nothing wrong with Tetris (I was brought up on a Tandy TRS80 so older games are nostalgic) though I can't say I played Civilisation (not into population sims to be honest). Love Tomb Raider though, the new one, Underworld, is pretty good and is much more like the older games.
So how about a little quid pro quo?
Lol.
What do you play or what games would you recommend?
I play pretty much anything. I'm very diverse in my selection of games. I love a good RPG though as I used to play alot of p&p D&D when I was a kid. Currently I'm playing:
Guild Wars
Divinity 2
Halo ODST
Avatar
FIFA10
Golden Axe: Beastrider
Streetfighter 4
Rainbow 6 Vegas 2
I will be buying Mass Effect 2 when that's released. Bayonetta, and Dantes Inferno, look good too.
What's your view on the more philosophical issues? Am I being too earnest for something that's supposed to be just fun or is there some disconcerting grain of truth in my musings?
I think that we all have our own tastes and needs to be catered for. It's hard to find a good developer who can cater for everyone. Sometimes it's best to not allow some things to put you off or you could miss out on some really good games.
