Well, thank ya sir.
I suppose I should tell you a little bit about what is going on. I'm several hours in, I believe I'm around level 15. I'll have to check my stats. *goes and checks
I just turned lvl 16.
60 Str
50 Agi
10 Magic
10 Constitution
I had read up a bit on character development, and it was suggested to put most (or all, in my case) into Agi and Str so you could get access to equipment. Well, I'm definitely at the point that I can use everything I've come across... so I was wondering if it was high time to start putting some points into Constitution or Magic. I'm a warrior, btw... I suppose I should mention that.
I read the link about the restoration potions (glad to know, didn't know or forgot that they fill up a %). It also mentioned that you get an alchemy point in the Dark Forest which I have not gotten, which I need to get... cause I am a huge fan of alchemy. Already have 3 points in it... I suppose I need to get that point from the quest. I also heard that lvl 5 alchemy isn't that useful, and it doesn't really appear to be.
I only have one point in Restoration because I read that there are several free points for that in the game, which I only got the one from the lizard in Aleroth.
I believe I have two in both Deadly Gift and Poison Weapon... I hear they are dreadfully overpowered, but that's fine with me. I'm not above being cheap to get past a difficult part in the game.
Augment Damage and Defense have to be good... so I have been putting points in them.
I'm sure the passive weapon skill (swords, axes, maces, etc) is great... but I haven't put any in it yet cause I don't really know what I'll end up using for good. I'm using the 5 charm axe that I found in the catacombs under Aleroth.
Any suggestions on the elemental damage skills? I haven't messed with any of those yet.
I put points in Lockpick because it seems to have served a purpose thus far.
So basically, for now I am asking advice on future character development. Don't worry about spoilers because it's not that big of a deal to me... just try to avoid HUGE ones.
