Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Saving Elfrith (yet another one)

I have yet to encounter any other problems in the game but i suppose this one is really annoying.

Elfrith will not talk to me and those mobs will not attack me when i approach him. I do recall though that when i first approached him the mobs where attackable -i got wiped in seconds- left the place and did something else.

Now i am stuck. Reloaded the game, re-installed etc etc etc but i still cannot get past that problem... Worst of all the next saved game is like days away from the one i have so i would not even think of replaying the whole thing.

Any more ideas?

Did you speak to Hermosa to get the quest? You can't save him without having the quest.

I think someone had posted before where having a same problem as you do, and it seems like a bug. You dont actually need to start from hermosa quest in order to save him, as I do remember when I 1st approach him, I havent talk to hermosa yet and still the mobs do attack me. Its bad to hear that you didnt keep some extra previous save with you. The game is still quite buggy to be honest.

I dont no whats going on with the man overboard quest how the heck are you supposed to save hime when you cant even jump out of the water i no where the boat is can jujmnp out of water to high and deep

he is totally not near any water at all lol if u looking for him in or near water ... no comment read quest than try to fin him and u cannot not find him becouse there is one of main plot items/buildings near by ....

hmm like you guys say theres a bug thats probelly why i searched all through for him and for the mine all through broken valley yet no mine door i hope they come up with q patch to download on xbox live

Elfrith is not in a mine nor broken valley. He is on sentinel island, which is quite near to the ship crew camp. He was forced up onto some pillars cause being surrounded by some dragon elf. When you get close to his location, he will automatically ask you for help and when you rescue him, you get a quest item which allow you to continue on with the main quest.
