You're completely missing the point.
No I'm not. I know very well what Steam is thankyou seems I have a Steam account.
xbox.com, for a start, is the official Microsoft site tied in with Xbox Live which is one of the biggest online gaming services (with well over 20 million subscribers) next to distributors like Steam. Also, tied in with Games for Windows Live etc, you can buy games and content from the marketplace via the website and then download it later via your Xbox 360 making them just as much a distributor as Steam, only on a console instead of a PC.
So if you think it's just some random gaming website where all people do on it is rant about games I would do some research instead of trying to mock people about their intentions of getting involved with the gaming industry.
If people want their tech support then they can come here, like you managed to, where they are more likely to have their questions answered. If they're too lazy to lift their fingers and fill out a quick registration that takes all of a couple of minutes at the most then that's their problem.
