I have got the same problem here. After loading the third logo screen it crashes with the exact same error.
I'm running the game from Steam, Vista64 with Nvidia.
Same here. I already tried the suggestions, with the same result.
Is there gonna be a patch to work this thing out? 7 gigs of hard drive space and $50 bucks flushed down the toilet aren't my idea of a good time....
