Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Amdusias in Maxos temple

I'm just wondering how to defeat Ambdusias. I know how to make him human but by getting the scale I lose about 50% of my hp and then when I manage to turn him into a human he one shots me with a 210 shot.
Am I too low level or is this just some stupid glitch. I am level 12 if you're wondering and I turned my difficulty down too LOW for this fight but he still one shots me.

You should be about level 13 at least to defeat him, go back to broken valley and train yourself to level 13/14.

But still.. 210? My hp is no where near that, how is 1 level going to change such a huge amount of damage.

Dont ask me kid, I didnt make the game, its just how it is, everyone defeats him at level 13/14.

Summon your creature who will draw the aggro. Then kick Amdusias' ass. Easy fight.

The mechanism of the game is much in such a way, when your level is lower than the mob, you take more damage. When you level is higher, you take a lot less damage. When you over level by certain level, you take close to no damage.

The BIG arrow hit is "Explosive Arrow" just dodge it or get behind something untill he fires it, then rush him.

how do u get him into human form though
