Crysis came out mid november 2007. I built my computer mid december 2007. It ran crysis just fine. The 8800gt and the q6600 i had back then are still going strong today.
Tech demo maybe (even though it's game play was unique to a majority of shooters at that time.) It also had the best graphics quality at that time. Of course its not the best anymore.
