There is no easy way that I know of to play either DD or BD in a window in Windows. I don't know if any virtual machine programs have good support for DirectX yet (
VirtualBox has experimental support for DirectX 8/9), but you could run try running DD under a Win9X / XP / 7 VM in Windows 7.
