I saved before going through Orobas' chest trial of questions and when I reloaded to the save prior to even entering the tomb/temple, the temple was open and I had already blown my chance.
Also, equipment will magically leave my body (usually gauntlets first) and/or just disappear outright. I love the task of obtaining Ulthar/Ustegar's whatever his name is set just to have the chest magically disappear from my body, inventory, and be completely unobtainable without starting a new game again.
