Hey. I entered the basement and killed everything. I got up and down the elevators. But I cannot open the door on the 1st (non-basement) floor. I cannot find a key in the basement. I found a key on the second floor, but cannot open the 3rd floor door.

Am I stuck or something? Please help. I've been wondering the basement for ages looking for a key to open the first floor door.

Is it possible that theres a bug? Like i killed the abomination master, went to another floor, then returned to the basement but there was no key?

Please I really need help. I love this game, and I have no Save Games (need to play like 5+ hours to get back to same point).

if your talking about the battle tower theirs 3 possible keys 1 is in the basement just kill the creature and he will drop it 2 is a odd looking dead end where you plant explosives should be in on the first level leading to the elevators continue down the path and the key is next to a dead body.
3 in the same basement where the Undertaker is when you walk in on your left.

I'm talking about the quest where I talk to the mute goblin. I've explored like every inch of the basement. Can't find the key to the 1st floor.

I killed all the creatuers and none drop the key.

I've scrounged around the basement for ages.

Any specific tips to find one key? PLease

Is there a way I can export my game save and someone find the key for me? lol

I never heart this would be a bug...
Keys are most of the time difficult to find, so look very very carefully!

And futhermore, DON'T mistake on that place! There are 2 doors closed! Where you can see a marker that leeds to a Library behind a closed door, THAT's the door you must open with a key. A door just near the elevator

But there is also another door closed, but in no way you can find a key for this door!! An NPC opens this door later on for you. So do not mistaken both closed doors!

Have you already blow up (for a scond time) another pile of rocks that is block a kind of a passage? If I rember right, behind those rocks you find some loot and another key, but I'm not sure this is a solution for you (that key, I don't remember what it is about) ... sorry if I'm wrong!

oooh a second pile of rocks? No I have not. I've only blow up the 1st pile that leads down a downward path to the elevator.

Where is this second pile of rocks? much appreciated

Edit: I just figured it out! Thanks. I knew that section was a bit unsual. Thanks heaps. Been slaving over this for hours.

Double Edit: That key doesn't open the 1st floor door though That key just unlocks a random chest.

How am I suppose to find the mute goblin? (As part of the main quest)

Here's what to do;

Mindread the goblin in the library for "Goblins Novel" or something then speak to the talking bookshelf and select the very bottom one (the one you mindread from the goblin) and the wall will open with a chest inside, open the chest for a book and it contains the name of the demon.

The second pile of rocks is on your right when you blow up the first path, check your map and it should be more visible.

Have you in your inventory on this moment just 1 ton of dynamite? So yes, okay! Go to the place where you blow up rocks for the first time! In that passage, if you walk from the place
you start walking after blow up rocks,
on your right side you can see there must be a passage, but rocks blocking your way (see also on your MAP!) and place the dynamite

Success!

I've blown up that pile. And retrieved that key. That key does not open up the door to the Goblin.

I can't get to the goblin Thats my connundrum.

lol shoulda found the explosives key from my post goofy lol. and the key your looking for IS IN THE DUNGEON WITH GRIMM KILL THE GHOUL he will drop it.

The key to the library should be at the lowest basement, where when you reach you will be greet by 1 of those abomination creature. Killing that creature, and you can loot the library entrance key from it. This is how it should be, unless your game is being bugged.

I've killed everything in the basement. No key drops. No loot bags left. Its barren down there?

I did get a different key however, on the second floor from a monster.

Is there anything I can do short of restarting the game?

If you had any previous save before entering the battle tower, try reload and retry again. It might help.

Foolishly, my last save was like non-quicksave file was over 5 hours before.

The lowest basements level should be a morgue if I remember correctly, where you only encounter 1 abomination creature upon leaving the elevator. Then you can find a teleporting shrine in this level and a guy who in charge of the morgue.

Ok so i reloaded and got up to the same point. Upon entering the basement, I'm met with 4 humans they attempt to kill me. None drop the key. There are no abominations on this floor. I open up all the cells and let this dude free. However, there is one cell with a broken button that requres a secret switch (?) to open. Is the key to the mute goblin level in here?

I ventured to level 2 and kill an abomination master. He drops a key, that opens a chest.

I remain frustrated lol.

What you had described was, you were not even reaching the elevator. You are still in the bandits cell area, where you need to get c4 to blow open the rocks that block the way. The elevator to the goblins is further up more

There is a hidden room in this area, where it shouldnt be hard to locate if you listen to what the bandits you had free told you. You find c4 in the hidden room, if I remember correctly.

I've already used all the dynamite. I go up the elevator to the first floor. Door is locked.
