Hi,

There are so called artifacts which belong to no colour. For example if I take my "Ornithopter" (Flying artifact with 0 mana cost)and I enchant it with two "unholy strenght" ( each 1 black mana) I have a 4/4 flying creature for 2!!! mana and I take that angel down imediatly

I don't use her to block I take my damage.
I play Intrepid Hero a measley 1/1 with the ability to destroy target creature with power 4 or greater and target Mr 'ornithopter'.

Damn! - well let me figure out another way to defend against your pretty angel.

hmmmm....

AH! Since you are playing a mostly white deck I assume you've got loads of small creatures, but since I'm playing a mostly black deck I have got loads of destroy target creature cards. Since I can't target the protected angel I would have to use them on all your other creatures at first. (If there are too many one or two "pestilences" (Enchantment: for one black mana every creature suffers -1/-1) should shrink their numbers.

And finally comes "diabolic Edict" (Target PLAYER sacrifices a creature)
Since you have to choose the angel...

I normally play a black/white deck.

But for now I'll just play an Instant: Disenchant (white) "Destroy Target artifact or enchantment"

Ok! was that another way to destroy my Ornithopter or did you take away my Pestilence? Or both

Well then. I'll just let your Angel attack as much as she wants. Since her mana cost is high we should be at least in the 6th round. In that case I will use a dark ritual(this only gives me enough mana) to bring out the avatar of woe. (Tap: destroy target non blck creature, can't be blocked exept by black and artifacts, 6/5) And in the next round comes a corrupt (damadges target player equal to the number of my swamps [6] und gives me that number back in lifepoints.

I got sick of Magic: The Marketing after the 12th expansion. I prefer the ECGs (Expandable Card Games). You buy the first deck for about one-and-a-half times a Magic starter deck and everybody plays off the one deck. Every now and then they release expansions which cost a bit less.

This way you know exactly how much you're spending and don't have to go card chasing. I find these a lot more fun too because I can buy more games from the price of one powerful Magic deck.

Our favourite ECGs include:

Chez Geek: A bunch of young adults move into an apartment and race to be the slackest! "Containt Adult Content. No Actual Maturity Required."

Hack!: Based on The Knights of the Dinner Table comic book. Dungeon crawling as one of the Knights characters.

Dungeoneer: D&D dungeon crawling in card form. Pick a character class and seek treasure and, most importantly, character levels!

Flux: A bizare game where there is only one rule - Draw 1 card; Play 1 card - until you play another rule. The goal of the game? Sorry, haven't played one of those yet.
