Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Technical problems Movies play slow and choppy + loading screen prob

Does anyone know how to fix this? I've read the sticky and it just mentions not having tons of codecs installed on your computer and I don't. I'm using Windows XP 64bit Edition.

Also, when you are about to leave the very first area by getting on that ship, the game gets stuck in the loading screen and never stops. Does anyone know how to get past that?

I've had the game for a wile but stopped acting I got that never ending loading screen because the game is too buggy and I wanted to wait for the patch. But it's taking too long, so I just wanted to know if anyone can help me out with those two issues and I wanna give Divinity 2 another try.

Choppy game - possible fix

For people with stuttering graphics

When leaving Farglow, did you try exiting the conversation yourself, rather than let it end automatically? At least in the Xbox version there could be a problem starting the cutscene there if the conversation ended by itself.

When I first played Divinity 2 (It was a wile ago) I think I read somewhere saying something about ending the conversation with the girl before you leave the starting area. I'm pretty sure I tried it and it didn't do anything and then I never played it again and waited for a patch. But who knows when we will get one, if I can get past that loading screen I will keep playing. I'll try it later and let you know if it works.

Also, I'm not talking about stuttering in game, I'm talking about the actual movies that play (The Intro for example) It plays really, really slow and choppy. The last time I Played it I ALT+Tabbed out and quickly went back in and then it would fix it, but now when I try that it doesn't work anymore.

I remember the last time I played I had stuttering problems the second time I opened it up but they sort of stopped when I closed a bunch of programs in tab manager.

I hope they release a patch soon.
