What is a quick way to level?

I'm a level 9, in Broken Valley, and I can't get to Maxos Temple because I always die from the Black Ring, so what is a way to level up quick in Broken Valley?

BTW, I'm trying to look for a Bellagar, but can't seem to find it. Where is it located in Broken Valley?

Kill something higher level than you will give you most exp you need. Also finish up all side quests in broken valley will help as well in your leveling, as well as getting better gears.

As for bellagar location, he can be found in alot places. Try use google to get them

There's no idea in going to Maxos Temple in level 9, at least it would be wiser to wait. Do all the quests you can and kill the enemies sneaking in Broken Valley. When you do the quest "Vigor Mortis" for Naberius, you can also summon your creature to help you.

There has been some topics about Bellegar already, you can search there.

You can get past them, but it's kind of tricky and useless. I did it with the hide in shadows skill and constantly jumping to evade most attacks. After that, you must encounter some men, which will be impossible at level 9.

You can also try to lure one by one black ring creature, which you probably can slay. This will net you experience and you can get through.

Ranger surprise at Lvl 2-3 would maybe allow you to pull one mob at a time. Just close in, target a mob and shoot him with a basic range attack to pull him. The other mobs shouldn't see you and won't attack when you do. (This is untested so if someone wants to test and post a response, feel free)

There are no mysteries in this or any world. There are only places I haven't pillaged yet.

By the way its ranger stealth, not ranger surprise. Ranger surprise reduce mob melee armro rating for short duration if I not mistaken. Yes its good skill for pulling mob without aggro the rest in the area.

Indeed, it's Ranger Stealth! And I use it! Great skill, 1 or 3 points in it is for me good enough. But I have also 1 points in ranger Strength from "David's Gauntlets" (side-quest in Brocken Valley Village).
But I'm not sure his Gauntlets are randomly or not, but their are god for a Ranger, for sure.

In fact, Ranger Stealth is also handy to fast focus on an enemy (with a bow!) BEFORE they see you and on that moment you can also use a spell like Magic Blast or Magic Missile, etc! But attention: some enemies have a very good sigth, others less... ! So 1 points isn't always enough if you wish to be the first that attack! grin

There are many ways to kill enemies, for sure laugh ... but some kind of enemies are better I run and jump close to them and give them a great kick with a higher damage sword! (I found different good 2 handed swords at the beginning of the game: search for a sword with the name 'Flamberge' in it wink
Now on level 11 I'm using a Flamberge with a damage max of 50!).
With NO use of healing potions I kill without problems a enemy that is 2 or 3 levels higher!
But I must say, Magic Blast is very good and strong! It using much more Mana than for example Magic Missile and has also a long(er) cooldown time, but it's more than worth to spend at least 1 or 2 points in it in the beginning of the game if you choose to play as a mage too (for so far you can choose a point in this skill, it have some "required level", like all skills wink ).

I know you can choose Ranger Stealth after reaching level 8 and Magic Blast I think after becomes level 5 or 6. And this time I spend not immediately all skillpoints ... I left at least 1 or 2 points and use them if realy necessary!

If you want a good Talisman (Amulet) early in the game - I got it if I was at least level 7 or 8 I believe ... :
go to the Delerect Tunnels (have 3 hatches - one is nearby the Waypoint Shrine 'Tribal Shrine' (Brocken Valley)) + "Secret Passage" ... to gather 3 Talismans: 1 from West, 1 from the East and 1 from the South. Find also a book that give clues ("Tomb Note" I think that book is named, finding on the place where you can use the Talismans the second time!). But you can first also using the Talismans somewhere else!!: in the Secret Passage by the 'Chapel Shrine' (Brocken Valley) you can find a place in that dungeon where animal pelts laying in a half circle around a throne-chair. Stay near the chair and try to "use" some Talismans. Don't be afraid, you should NOT dying, even if you try more than once!! But be sure killing first all enemies in this place. So go FIRST to that throne and after that, go to the other place (you found that book Dusty Tomb!). Tip: I place 4 markers on the place where I find that book and see 2 statues and plants.

The Talisman or amulet you gather after searching how to find him is a good one, but also randomly I think! But mine amulet has 3 empty enchantmentslots(!), 1 empty charmslot, 2 points in wisdom(!) and also 1 thing more, I can't remember now...

Jackson amulet might be good in the early days, but can be replace easy later. I usually choose to use accessories with wisdom while leveling. The game just offer ones various of possibility to build their toons with wide variety of skills available. As long as you can progress in the game, your toon build is solid enough.

And enchantment slots on accessories are not actually too important, in my opinion. As I only find healing aura to be a more useful utility, compare to others which available.

That's also a good Amulet indeed wink

I have also questions about level up human and dragon !

fisrt to say: I'm level 11 and on this moment I spend zero points in my stats Vitality and Spirit! Nothing ... and my Dexterity, Strength and Intelligence are each around 20 points!

It's also funny:
I don't spend points in vitality or spirit, but each time I level-up, my HP and Mana also go a little bit higher!! Without any gear in mana or HP!

I think the dev's make it on this way because of the Dragonform!? Each level-up ... your dragon also have a higher HP and Mana, and much more than the human form too!

But I wonder: how I can make the offense and defense of the dragonform "stronger"??
Is there something I can do in humanform? I know I can find some equipment for the dragon that give a % in offense or defense, but futher on something else...??

Someone who can explain more about all this? laugh

You gain 4hp/mp per level up in human form. As for dragon form no idea as never track it down.

Dragon defense or offense only can be gain through dragon armor piece. You either choose defense or offense.
