so, been playing the game for a couple days now. and ive come to realize that my minion has no bowel control what so ever. i guess the devs programmed this in on purpose, but why? i understand that in europe the customs are different then in north america, but really? peeing? all the bloody time? is this supposed to have some significance? which one of the devs is the one with the pee fetish?

I think it was suppose to be a funny/unexpected animation you would see a couple times. Perhaps the beta testers knew the game good enough they didn't stand around much, and didn't notice it was set to occur a tad too frequently to remain amusing?
I recall an adventure game with a female protagonist who would make comments if she stood still too long; going through the inventory once I heard "what, am I suppose to wait here until my prince comes?".

the ending to this game completely ruined it, aside from the near game ruining bugs, the ending leaves you with this empty....WOW....i did all that for THIS!!! it is what i would have to imagin being rapped feels like.

I think peeing is just funnier in Europe.

Reminds me of the "Schniepel" of Sacred 1. wink

Cut scene: You come upon the lair of this mighty dragon. After a short conversation with the great wyrm, the camera slowly and dramatically pulls back to you... and some guy with his leg hiked up in the air, staring at his crotch... peeing.

Ok, admittedly, I spit pop everywhere. Of course that wasn't the first time I've watched a cut scene and this tool is urinating in the background (literally, over someone's shoulder that leg is hiked to the heavens). Too funny.

I have the tower and I'm trying to clear out the Fjord quests... last night I find a head for like 900g in the limb seller's inventory with a level 10 fireball. Clearing the enemies at Keara's place was pretty easy... BOOOM one-shot kill. Well, when he wasn't digging a hole and keeping up with me. rolleyes

Good thing the fireball doesn't harm the party, the creature doesn't care if he's too close or not. delight

To be honest, the first time I play the game, I just used my creature 2 or 3 times a short time, that's all! Maybe if I play on harder difficulty I use my creature more times?

And what about the XP-points? Have someone any idea if my creature kills enemies, goes this XP for killing a enemy to my hero or not?

XP is all yours. The only time I have found experience vanish is when you charm an enemy and they die while they're your pet, you do not get XP.

Maybe it would be better if he peed acid on the creeps trying to kill me.

I think the creature needs to pee less. Alot less. Almost as soon as a battle is done he starts peeing. I guess he is just marking his turf but it seems excessive. Minor gripe though ...

Considering the creature is undead, I'm amazed that he can eat/drink enough to pee in the first place. I don't want to even imagine what undead pee smells like, or what it is made of if not what the creature drank...

Yeah, the urination mught be funny if it didn't happen every 10 seconds. It's especially annoying if you don't unsummon it before talking to someone, because the thing pees like 5 or 6 times per average conversation.

It was amusing the first time, but it happens a bit too much.

I don't have the creature's problem... but hearing that sound.. makes me need to go nearly as much as it does.

So yes, I think it's a tad excessive. Kinda like the dialog that tells you that a quicksave was loaded. I think it's a mistake that made it into the final game.
