Check you laptop manufacturer's website and see if they have updated chipset drivers for your model laptop. There may have been a driver CD that came with the laptop, if anyone is still doing that.
I assume you tried removing the entry in the device manager, rebooting and seeing if Windows would find the correct drivers?
I have an Alienware laptop that is barely 1year old and everything is up to date, i downloaded everything from their website (otherwise my video card isnt working for some reason O_o)
And I will try to remove the entry right about now...
