Just feel like sharing out this. Also opinions from those who successfully patched the game are welcome.

Character navigation
Unlike during ver 1.0, the character navigation is now base on the crosshair on the screen, which I see pros and ocns on it. For those has experienced on ver 1.0, when your PC move close to an interact able objects/items, there will be an interaction menu pop out on the right of the hotkey bar. Basically no specific viewing angle needed, as long as your PC is close enough to the object, then interaction menu will pop out. While in 1.03, its all based on the crosshair now. The interaction menu will only pop out showing there an item, when our crosshair targeted on that particular item. So it might be easier for players to miss out smaller things such as books and keys.

Quick lock is more needed when playing range characters. If I mouse my mouse fast, my bow aiming can easily lost focus as compare to the previous version. But good thing is I can shoot down barrels of crates in front of me now, without the need to move few steps back, where I aim and shoot items at even a lower position.

Mage and Range Mobs
Previously only arrows has homing capabilities. But after patching to 1.03, I found that normal range damage done by mage and ranger type mob, such as dragon elf mage and ranger, has the homing capabilities as well. During version 1.0, these range attack can be easily dodge by just side stepping, pressing "A" and "W" key. But now it can hardly be done so. It still can be dodge by actions such as side rolling but its not 100% success now. I saw the fireball alike attack flew pass me and make a U turn, then hit me from my back when I thought I dodge that attack by using side rolling.

I feel kinda good on this changes, as it make the game more challenging compare to before.

Melee Weapon
Melee weapons now do small aoe damage, which I think its good generally. But skills kinda like exploiting this capability. Single target skills now become "small" aoe skill, making it like bit too OP for warrior build characters. I tested it with my old warrior save in the final battle against the divine. When I use thousand strike on the divine and instantly kill him, I instantly killed the other 2 or 3 paladins which just beside him. With this aoe features with melee weapons, I cleared out the final battle even most faster, which make me feel really OPed.

All above are what I had experienced and feel after the patch. I didnt actually restarted again with a fresh character, so if there are any more major changes, please share with me and the others. Oh I also had a weird quick load glitch as the patch, which no idea if those who successfully patched facing it or not.

Think I'll stick with 1.01, game is hard enough already for me.

I also successfully installed the patch and have not started a new game, working great. Haven't tested many things yet but I think I noticed the melee weapon hitting multiple enemies. ACSS, so you haven't noticed if enemy arrows home in on you still? The patch notes say homing is lowered for lower difficulties and I cant say cause I haven't faced any rangers since the patch. Im playing on medium and no I dont like the homing arrows.

I patched while my toon just reach sentinel island, and now she still in sentinel island, so I had no idea on arrows homing yet. I had read the patch notes, but I feel like info there is just too little. Just a few lines of text only.

Actually I dont worry much on arrow homing, as arrow dont do as much damage as magic. An arrow still can be dodge using obstacle, such as hiding behind large rocks. If you going to start a new character with the new patch, let us know if you find anymore differences compare to previous version.

And 1 more difference I notice is, mage type mobs seems to have a longer shooting range. Sometimes they just hit me before I can even reach the range to has the mob name display with my crosshair. And I got rank 4 ranger stealth.
