I was expecting a seamless map aside from dungeons, or at least a whole continent worth of travel.
Instead we were given invisible barriers and a relatively small map.
I understand that this game took a very long time to develop but only a few tweaks would have made it far greater.
The game is a masterpiece - Don't get me wrong, I thoroughly enjoy it. I am just suggesting a few changes if they ever wish to develop another game that includes dragon flight.
First of all. The world ought to be humongous, a whole continent at the very least. Think Fallout3 with flight. As for the invisible barriers.. Do away with them entirely - flying too high would make you a target for nearly invincible defenses, that can only be destroyed once taking care of their base of operations. This means you fly too high, You die. It would be a reward, a shortcut once you defeated that whole region.
Flying too far out from the continent could have many story related consequences. From losing your powers, losing protection, or an armada of ships performing an embargo opening up on you.
All of these methods would allow players the true feeling of freedom and a good mix of consequence!
I hope you consider these things in the future.
Oh yes.. Respawning enemies is definitely a must.. even if it's just a sprinkling here and there. renewable quests - Think of it this way.. Some people such as myself want to level up. we want to get stronger. The leveling scheme in this game was very disappointing

Enemies that respawn should scale to your level, meaning that it will always be rewarding to kill them.
This game is great, but it has the same flaws Drakan had. Level limit, invisible barriers. limited everything.
It's good, but not great. It was definitely worth the money, and very entertaining, telling a great story. But it is crushed by the negatives..
Keep up the good work though, and in the future.. find compromises, create the illusion of no barriers. It can always be done instead of making an invisible barrier.. shame on you
