Larian Studios Forums Divinity 2 - Ego Draconis (English) Help/Tips/Tricks Potion shop refresh?

I'm having some issues where I can't find any potions for sale. I bought a bunch from shopkeepers like 6-8 levels ago, and now I finally used them all up and am at the invasion of the Battle Tower to take it, and I have no potions, and cannot fight the groups of 5+ alone without any. Is there any way to refresh Potion supplies in shopkeepers? I could play for another 10 days and it seems the NPCs never get more potions.

Brew your own potions. That the usage of the herbs you pick up along the way.

How exactly does that work? I assumed it was an NPC or use a recipe or something, but I never did figure out the alchemy system, and it was never introduced or talked about what so ever in the game, and it needs to be if it exists before you get the Battle Tower.

I sure you will had some alchemy recipes or enchantment recipes with you, as you can get them through quest reward, from loot and chests. There is a talking alchemist tree at the basement of the miller in broken valley village, where you just need to bring the recipe to the tree, and it will recorded down those recipes, and it can now brew the potions for you, provided you had the herbs needed. When you get your own battle tower, you will have your personal alchemist in the tower which work exactly like the alchemist tree.
