So, my character is level 32, and honestly everything dies with only a few hits now. I'm curious what kind of damage everyone is doing around that level. I haven't even finished all of orobas fjords. Right now my damage stats are this:

434-475 normal damage
293-324 magic damage

Duel-wielding the Ultimate Good Hammer and the Rivellon Guards Hammer (had them since... forever and can't find anything to match them)
also sporting the full scorpion set minus the two-hander

I'm not sure how the damage works, but if it adds up, I'm hitting around 727-799
I also have bleed doing 100% extra damage, and whirlwind doing +378.5.
Also, I've read a lot about how rush shouldn't be upgraded high... and right now I've got it at x3 damage... which is generally a 1 hit kill for everything my level.

I've read a lot about how two-handed weapons are way better in this game, and to be honest, I have never found a two-hander to match that damage. So I'm asking now what damage everyone else was seeing and what weapon choices they made.

Honestly speaking the dlc weapon is really too op. Even more powerful than lvl30 weapon. Here my damage of my dual wield warrior with 2 unique sword, lvl30 and 28, with weapon damage of 561-682 +(290-290)without any buff. The damage figure is actually a bit misleading on dual wield, as you will never make the damage amount as listed. My normal whack on mobs in the final battle deal bout 400+ to 500+ damage per slash. Each sword deal bout 200+ damage. If both crit, the damage can be over 1k.

I think ulthring set will be a better choice over scorpion, but since you had make you choice, that nothing more talk on it. Mobs hp, damage and defense varies on difficulty. If you on high difficulty mode, I bet they wont die with just 1 hit. My damage mentioned above are in high difficulty mode, on lvl32- 34 mobs in final battle.

There a lot mention 2 handed dealing more damage, which I actually quite doubt on it. I will be testing it out maybe in my current 2nd run through. But I do sure that with 2 handed weapon, the damage output wont be as consistent when comparing to dual wield, as 2 handed weapons tends to have low min damage with high max damage on the weapon. But dual wield will always be a better option over building character stats, even if its damage is slightly lower when comparing to 2 handed weapons.

I agree, the DLC weapon is pretty beast, I haven't found anything even close to it in damage.

I'm also just playing on normal mode, with virtually no trouble when I'm in human form, so I may up the difficulty. Dragon form I have more difficulty with, but its not too hard.

I have ulthring set as well, I just don't like the way it looks, so I went towards the scorpion set.

I just don't see how two-handers could possibly do more damage than dual-wield when we are doing that much damage with dual-wields, consistently. Every two-hander I have found has never had even close to that much damage, and the damage figures are always extremely wide.

Also, I agree, the damage figure is a bit misleading, but I assume the figure is based on minimal defense. Actual enemy defense takes over 200 damage off the figure, but still I'm hitting for 500+ with ridiculous crits. And like I said, Rush is almost always a 1hit kill, especially if bleed works.

I'm at the point where I will rush a group of five or six, kill one instantly, throw up a firewall, and hit whirlwind, and everything dies before I'm even touched... It's awesome

I hit a whirlwind on a few chickens earlier... hit them for like 3k dmg haha

The weapon damage displayed in the character sheet is actually the totaled up damage of both weapon, but while in dual wield, each weapon actually has their individual damage, thus the displayed damage is totally wrong. If both of your weapons had similar damage, by just equip one you will get the more accurate damage reading in character sheet.

I never found any really good weapons when I played as a dual-wielder. I used the Mace of ultimate good & Laiken's sword at the end.
