Good news!
Impulse have just released the latest patch for their digital download version of the game.
To check if you have the latest version go to the Divine Divinity main menu.
The version number shown should be 1.005A
I can at least confirm that it has fixed the spinning npc problem. Thanks Larian.
So for me its on with the show......for now.
