Your in the Maxos temple at 10-11? How did you get past the large group of lv 11, 12, and 13 black ring, dragon slayers and living statue enemies; not to mention the large groups of skeletons on and around Lovis' tower. Sounds like you went straight from Talana to Lovis' Tower and then to the Maxos Temple.
Kill all the enemies in broken valley and don't forget the bandit camp, if you didn't expose it to Louis then there's some quests with great rewards and high EXP. If you did expose it(which you might as well do after you beat all the quests) you can kill like 2 dozen lv 10 bandits in there.
You didn't really pick a class in farglow, depending on if you talked to the warrior, mage, or ranger trainer you got 1 point in whirlwind, fire ball, or poison arrow. You also got 3 additional points in the related stat.
