Hi everyone, I,m new at all of this so i hope you all will bear with me. I have a ?, I'm down to nitty gritty in money and potions and was wondering if it's better to invest in healing or rejuvination potions? I'm level 21 and have the battle tower.

Sounds like you need to invest points in healing spell and summon ghost spell. I have'nt needed to take a healing potion in quite some time.

What are you spending all your money on?

you know, I can't even say for sure, potions mostly i think. I know I also wasted some on charms not realizing i would find better then i bought, regardless, i'm at about 1300 and everytime my runner gets hert it goes down. in a real fix. I have a few potions now so i'm going to go clean out some caves and see what happens.

If you are mostly melee, just do health with one point in the melee hit=mana regain thing and you will be more then fine.

If you are all spells, then rejuv is where its at.

also, just spend money on your runners equipment and then they have a very high chance of succeeding and you may then have unlimited gems, enchantment materials and herbs and you may then sells those for money. So no need to worry for money then on. AND you will have all the materials for you alchemist to make potions for you for basically free.

Yes,herbalism
sorry
didn"t play for long time

You will enjoy If you start again
The whole world will be different for you
You will know where to find some good things and you will surely discover many new things

as for warrior
Well stranght is your primary concern
Mix that with lots of vitality and some heavy punch skills and you are set

As I can see you will use sword and shield
so that means classical tank
am I right

I will sugest you some skills for tank build
-whirlwind
-fatality
-defensive posture
-Bleed
-death blow
-and if you want thousand strikes or reflect(I love this skill)

I think this would be nice(Though you can take whatever you want, but I just think that this skills are for true tank)
Of course If you have some other plans let us now
I am sure that people on forum will help you

Yes, Master Herbalistis that skill wink

I don't know HOw you play the game before you have your Battle Tower, but I think it is always possible to find a solution to go futher with the game.

I personally prefer to combine warrior with mage and ranger... So I use a bow, a sword AN magic too! I think a pure warrior is more difficult to play, certain if you're not so skilled with games AND that's NO shame! Everybody once begin one day his/her first game smile!

I think you can't do realy BAB things, make bad choices! It's most of the time a personal choice to play a RPG on your own way. BUT, everybody can learn from each other, for sure wink

How I play my second playround:
I play again still on "easy difficulty". I play now without buying anything from a trader.... All I can find from loot I search out the best equipment etc... and all the rest I sell! So my amount of gold is great now on level 16 laugh ... I think I have 37 000 goldcoints now.

I don't spend skillpoints in Master Herbalist.

You can find my personal stats here.
Maybe it can help a little?
Success! smile

first off I want to thank you all for your help. I think I'm going to go ahead and try as I am. What i'd like to do is get some suggestions. I have 6 stat points i haven't used, looking at the stats i showed you already, can anyone help me in deciding what best to do with them?

With only 6 stat points, I like to reserve 5 of them in case I find better gear which requires a bit more than what I currently have. However, if you have at least 15 in Strength, Dexterity and Intelligence, then you're probably OK.

I'd go for Strength as a warrior, Dexterity for a Ranger, and Intelligence (and a bit into Spirit) for a mage.

One thing I noticed is that your weapon does not do that much damage. It's pretty low. I would think real hard about using a 2-handed sword or at least 2 weapons. At level 21 / 22 you will start finding alot of high powered 2h swords. Try one for a little while and see if you dont kill your enemies quicker.

Also, thousand strikes and summon ghost have saved my buttox on many, many occasions. Thousand strikes takes alot of mana so you will be limited on other spells that you want to use but have plenty of revital potions with ya and you should do well.

The thing I love about thousand strikes is that you hit 5 strikes on everything around you; so it's a GREAT equilizer. I am almost soley a warrior class. I only have have heal and summon ghost [ both healing types of spells ] outside of warrior skill set.

At least TRY a 2H sword for a little while. I think that you find that you have much better results.

Sorry, don't understand what you wish to know about my build.

I play well I can say, better than the first time smile.
The combination of using first a bow + magic and than a 2-handed sword with good damage if enemies comes nearby works fine for me. But for sure, sometimes I must change my strategy wink.

Nothing about your build
Just is your character strong
or do you die a lot

and I need to ask you something
Did you consider a fireball
I think It is very good spell for your build

No, I don't die very often!
I'm strong enough smile ... Okay, my HP value is low, but I experience that my dexterity, strength & intelligence gives me a good resistance on my current level + the extra point from my gear to Cond Body etc ... hmmm... great smile !
It's also because I spend my statpoints in it and not in spirit or vitality! Later on I should find more gear with + points to HP wink

And there are so much potions to find, to make or things to eat! I use regularly food, even if my health is 3/4 full. Later on higher levels food isn't not usefull anymore for me because of it's limited HP-value...
And I collect always a few strong HP-potions if necessary! But with Ranger Stealth (2 points) and Rothman's bow I can always do enough damage so my Magic Blast + Confusion + Destruction does the rest and if not, my 2-handed Arben Sword eliminates the last breath of life from any enemy :hihi:

Fireball? O, maybe yes! I should try it next time I play to see what it do for me ... thanks for advise wink

First off, I try to find jewelry or belt with healing or better yet, regenerate, which is better than healing. Also try to get jewelry with the skills I like, Firewall for me is the best. Try to get these from the chest at Zix Zax, from the Archeologist and on top of Lovis's Tower after you get the password for the teleporter, all in Broken Valley. This frees up more skill points for other things. Right now, all my jewelry has heal and one firewall. I don't find Summon Ghost all that helpful. Also try to keep jewelry of some kind with "Master Herbalist". I may not wear it all the time, just put it on to make potions. (I know, anal, much?) This cuts down on ingredients. I only buy ingedients or potions as there is always much better armour and jewelry to be found/won. Once you get to the Battle Tower your runner will get all the stuff you need, just remember to go back often to send him out again. Get the highest level potion formulas you can early in the game and make those, buying only lower level ones. You won't need them much if you give/get points to regenerate and potion efficiency. Good luck, am playing for the third time and learning more as I go!
