BATTLE MAGE GUIDE


NOTE:sorry for mistakes in grammar


INTRODUCTION:In my second guide I will introduce you to battle mage class.Its one of the most easiest and friendiest class.Battle mages must be fast killers who don"t give enemies a chance to try something.It combine mage skills,Priest skill,Ranger skill and Warrior skills.



STAT POINTS:


-First 3 points in strenght and only 1 in Vitality
-Second 2 points in intelligence and 2 in spirit
-Get 15-20 strenght(It will allow you better equipment)
-10 spirit and 10 intelligence
-From this moment on you create your own way.At the end of the game
I had around 45 strength,35 intelligence,20 spirit,35 vitality(with equipment) and many unused points.But of course you can always take "mana efficient" and save mana points for "thousand strikes"

The point is that you will use magic to bring enemies health to 10-30% and then just slay them with one hit



SKILLS:
Battle mage is dependant on them
Just remember
In the begining take way of the warrior and firs skill book you find(On rock in traning area)use to learn fireball


SKILLS:



-Magic Missile
Shoots a couple of missiles(Not very useful for battle mage)

-Fireball
A fireball which damages enemies around the target(MAX IT,Its your nuke spell)


-Mana Efficiency
Lower the amount of mana needed to use a spell(Why not)


-Polymorph
Turns the enemy into a ladybird(Skip it)


-Confusion
The target stands still for a couple of seconds(you points are better spent elsewhere)

-Magic Blast
A couple of quick attacks(This skill is good invenstion.At least to level 10)


-Mana Leech
A successful attack on an enemy turns a certain percentage of the damage into mana.(Skip it)


-Destruction
Increases the damage of your magical attacks.(MAX IT)


-Firewall
Creates a wall of fire(If you want though I doubt anything will be alive to put you in danger)

-Healing
A healing skill(NO)

-Way of the Battle Mage
Temporarily increases your magical damage(not useful)




-Summon undead
Summons undead(SKIP)


-Summon Ghost
Summons ghost(SKIP)

-Fear
It causes the enemies to retreat for a while(SKIP)

-Hide In Shadows
It allows you to become invisible for a given period of time(SKIP)


-Charm
It lets you to charm an enemy so that he will fight on your side(MUST have on the begining)


-Summon Mastery
Increases the damage done by your summoned monsters(SKIP)


-Curse
Curses the enemies around you,lowering the damage they inflict and their defence(SKIP)


-Blind
You can blind an enemy(SKIP)


-Life Tap
Sacrifice a part of your health and gain mana(SKIP)

-Master Herbalist
Lowers the amount of components you need to prepare potions(MUST HAVE,oh my god,I just love that skill)


-Summon Demon
Summons a high level Demon(If you have points to spare,go ahead)



-Way of the Wise Wizard
Temporarily increases your defence against magic(Not very useful




-Whirlwind
Damages the enemies around you(Nice for begining)


-Rush Attack
Attacks a single enemy from a distance with a multiplied damage(NO)


-Jump Attack
Increases the damage dealt with a jump(NO)


-Fatality
Allows you to instantly kill an enemy after his health drops to a given level(If you want.It can help a bit)


-Defensive Posture
Temporarily increases your defence against melee and distance attacks(NOPE)


-Battle Rage
Temporarily increases the damage done with melee attacks(If you want though not "a must skill".But It can help you in melee battles to finish them fast))


-Life Leech
A successful attack on an enemy turns a certain percentage of the damage into health points(SKIP)


-Bleed
A chance that the enemy bleeds out(Rather kill him)


-Regenerate
Automatic health recovery(You will have billions of potions)


-Thousand Strikes
Series of quick strikes(MAX IT)


-Death Blow
Increases the chances for a critical strike(If you can spare points)


-Reflect
Deflects a percentage of the damage dealt by the enemies onto themselves(SKIP)




-Evade
Increases the chance of evading melee attacks(1 point)


DRAGON SLAYER:


Quite easy
I sugest one handed skill but of course if you want two hander skill is also great
I would avoid sword and shield or dual-wield skills

Wisdom is useless for battle mage and encumbrance only If you wanna loot everything(Though later in game you can take points back)
Lockpick is must



SKILL USE:

From begining to battle tower
-Fireball
-One handed or two handed skill
-encumbrance(If you can"t hold everything you find)
-Whirlwind
-Batle rage
-Mana Efficiency
-Lockpick
-fatality
-Evade

From battle tower to end
-Fireball
-One handed or two handed
-fatality(If you find it necesarry)
-Thousand strikes(MAX IT)
-Magic blast
-Firewall(If you die too much though that should not happen)
-Mana Efficiency
-Lockpick
-Herbalism
-Evade
-Death blow(If you can spare points)
-summon deamon((If you can spare points)





Tactic:
Fireball and hack"n slash them.Fatality and magic blast on bosses.Thousand strikes If they overhelm you or wall of fire and same on bosess.Well you can kill Divine in two hits "Magic blast and thousand strikes"



Look for heavy armors on the begining and good looking armors after battle tower cuz your battlemage should raze trough enemies line
