I'm having the same problem. Only 1 statue is talking to me; 4 silent ones. I agree, the game seems to be a bit buggy. Good game on the whole of things, but a bit buggy. I don't suppose someone can post what statue is what, or where to find what statue is what. Its quite frustrating
